Qumu Named a Leader for Third Consecutive Time in the Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Video

San Bruno, CA, May 17, 2016Qumu (NASDAQ: QUMU) , the leader in enterprise video, today announced that Aragon Research, a technology-focused research and advisory firm, named Qumu a leader in the 2016 Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Video. This is the third year in a row that Qumu has been selected as a leader by Aragon Research.

Qumu cited for its UC gateway capabilities and “creating a true hybrid offering”

Authored by Aragon Research founder, CEO and lead analyst Jim Lundy, the Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Video covers the technology providers that allow an enterprise to manage all forms of video, including live and on-demand video. Providers were evaluated on their platform capabilities and the ability to integrate with key enterprise applications and systems. The research firm then placed the providers on a matrix according to the strength of their strategy and performance.

Qumu was specifically cited for its full cloud offering, video editing, search capabilities, brand awareness and UC gateway capabilities. Aragon also noted that Qumu “has taken the strengths in Pathfinder, its intelligent content distribution engine, and added the ability for cloud customers to utilize its software and hardware endpoints within a customer’s network, creating a true hybrid offering.”

“Qumu is honored to be selected as a leader in enterprise video by Aragon Research yet again, achieving this distinction every year since the inception of the Aragon Research Globe for Enterprise Video,” said Vern Hanzlik, president and CEO of Qumu. “This is especially gratifying because we have a mindful focus on the enterprise, and continue to innovate and integrate to address the top priorities of our customers.”
