Qumu Introduces New Mobile Apps for Enterprise Video

Enterprise video leader makes capturing and viewing video from mobile devices easier and more secure with iOS and Android apps for Qumu Cloud

Minneapolis, June 22, 2017Qumu (NASDAQ: QUMU), a leader in enterprise video, announced two new mobile apps – Qumu Capture and Qumu View – available for iPhone and Android devices. Designed for the digital workplace, these new companion tools greatly enhance the user experience of creating, editing, viewing and sharing video across the enterprise, directly from mobile devices. Both are available immediately in the Apple and Google Play stores.

“With the increasing influence of mobile and social business, the digital workplace is becoming much more of a ‘bring your own device’ world,” said Christopher Conaway, Qumu Senior Vice President, Product & Operations. “Organizations must make it easy for employees to create and use video, and with these new apps users will be able to create and share video as naturally and intuitively as they have come to expect as consumers.”

With the new Qumu Capture app, Qumu Cloud users will be able to easily create, edit and share HD video in minutes, all from their mobile device. And with the new Qumu View app, anyone in the organization will be able to find, view, search and manage Qumu Cloud videos directly from their mobile device—and be notified immediately when new content is published or shared.

“A great mobile experience is key to Qumu’s Qx strategy, which provides the most complete, end-to-end enterprise video platform available,” noted Conaway. “Delivering high quality video to any device, anywhere is critical to making the digital workplace a reality and Qumu is doing exactly that.”
