For the second year in a row, Gartner has issued a Magic Quadrant report on the state of the enterprise video content management market

At Qumu, we have seen Gartner’s maintained interest in enterprise video content management reflected in our interactions with customers. “Enterprise video content management is becoming attractive to organizations making mainstream technology decisions,” write Gartner analysts Whit Andrews and Adam Preset in the introduction to the 2014 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Video Content Management. Video is becoming a consideration for many businesses looking to improve upon their existing communications infrastructure. Whether that means integrating with social enterprise collaboration platforms or catching up with the increasing use of mobile devices to capture, share and view videos, large organizations are looking to understand more about how to implement full-featured enterprise video solutions that will best suit their needs.

Qumu has again been positioned in the Leaders quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant. What’s more, Kulu Valley, which was recently acquired by Qumu and rebranded Qumu Cloud, is positioned highest for ability to execute in the Magic Quadrant’s Challengers category.
