How it Works
Capture Studio offers unmatched flexibility by supporting all major video formats, including Windows Media, MPEG-4 (H.264), Flash and Silverlight. With multiple viewing options, presentations can be streamed live via the Qumu Video Control Center (VCC). Multiple formats are provided for playback on any device—from desktops to mobile handsets to high definition televisions—while cross platform playback includes compatibility with Windows, Mac and Linux.
Integration with Qumu Video Control Center offers the ability to:
- Ingest – Capture Studio output can automatically be ingested to VCC, including metadata that will populate into the VCC video asset.
- Manage – VCC can manage the distribution of the Capture Studio generated video output to any number of content distribution points, including iCDN and eCDN networks.
- Control – Capture Studio can be scheduled and controlled (start/stop) from the VCC console, which is ideal for automated broadcasts setup. This is particularly relevant to University environments, as it enables them to record scheduled classroom lectures.
Pre- and post-production work is also streamlined with Capture Studio. Easy to use presets enable one click production, while audio and video mixing is automatic. Chapters are automatically created and indexed to ensure that all content is searchable.
